The SnapReg system utilizes compact modern optics to search, find, and analyze a specific printed mark on a running web. This data is used to quickly determine the required movement, whether of a register motor, cut-off control, or ribbon control. The micromarks used to check registration fit inside a typical color bar, or are barely visible when hidden in the ‘live’ work.
SnapReg integrates into GMI’s Mercury or Clarios consoles, providing a single station to handle your control needs. SnapReg can also be purchased independently, with a stand-alone interface. With excellent measurement resolution and speed, SnapReg enables you to produce high-quality print with minimal waste.
